Birthday Card Animation

This birthday card was animated for my father's birthday and was completed during one flat out weekend of animation. It is inspired by Terry Gilliam's Monty Python animations and follows my father on an adventurous bus journey. I also created all the voices in the animation. One rule I did break was that due to a lack of time I didn't create story boards, which worked out very well as it was an animation that would only work as a stream of consciousness. All the sound effects and voice over work was recorded after the animation was completed, much like the English voice over for the Magic Roundabout!
